Machine safety is an important consideration for system
integrators and machine builders. For new machines machine builders must adhere
to ‘Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 1998.’ Existing machines are
covered in ‘Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER).
In any case we can provide safety systems for new or old
machines which satisfy all legislation, allowing the machine to be used safely
and legally.
· Safety systems to BS EN 62061 and BS EN ISO
13849-1
· Machine risk assessments BS EN ISO 12100-2010
· Reliability calculations
· CE certification
When creating a control system we consider safety at every
stage, from design to implementation and ongoing maintenance. For existing
machines we can provide new safety system and integrate them with the existing
system.
· Safety controllers
· Safety PLC’s
· Safety relay systems
· Light curtains and scanners
· Emergency stops
· Enabling devices
· Gate switches
· Key exchange systems
· Electric, hydraulic and pneumatic integration
